Commissions

Whether you’re a private collector, interior designer, or curator seeking a piece that feels tailored to a specific space or vision, I welcome thoughtful commission requests. My work sits quietly yet confidently in architectural settings—and I'm happy to collaborate to bring the right presence, size, tone, and energy to your project.

Types of Commissions

Commissions can take a few different forms depending on your needs. Below are the most common ways I collaborate with clients:

Artwork Customisation — adjusting scale, proportion, or palette of an existing work or series to suit a specific space or feeling.

Bespoke Artwork — creating a new, one-of-a-kind painting within the visual language of my practice, developed in dialogue with your space and intention.

Interior Project Collaboration — working alongside designers, architects, or stylists to develop work that harmonises with broader spatial or conceptual goals.

What to expect

Commissioning a piece is simple yet personal. Here’s how it typically unfolds:

1. Initial Conversation

We begin with an email exchange or call where we discuss your needs, space, preferences, and materials. You’re welcome to share room photos, or reference works from my portfolio and thoughts what drew you to my work.

2. Proposal & Agreement

Based on our conversation, a written proposal is shared—including size, series influence and general vision, estimated timeline and pricing. At this stage we can also confirm any framing and shipping needs. Once agreed, a 50% deposit secures the commission. At this stage, I do not begin design or studies—only once the agreement is confirmed.

3. Creation Process

Following the deposit, I create a small number of composition studies or variations (based on the agreed parameters) and confirm the final palette and structure before painting begins. This is a focused step intended to guide the final work, not an open exploration. I create the work with ongoing care and remaining aligned with the shared direction. Completion usually takes 3–6 weeks, depending on scale and studio rhythm.

4. Completion & Delivery

Once complete, the final balance is due. The work is then carefully packed and shipped with full tracking. Commissioned pieces are final sale.

A Note on Collaboration

If you're a designer or curator working on behalf of a client or space, I’m happy to tailor the process to your workflow. I understand the importance of placement, scale, and tonal cohesion. Trade and project partnerships are welcome.

If you’d like to start a conversation about a custom piece, feel free to reach out via the contact form or email. I look forward to hearing about your project.
