Pullens Yards (Clements, Peacock and the large Iliffe yard) are an amazing collection fo 1880's workhouses which were originally designed for the people who lived in the nearby Pullens Estate. The Yards serve the same purpose as they did 140 years ago, and the cabinet makers and metal workers have been joined by painters, sculptors, florists, ceramists, potters, jewellry makers, card makers and the whole host of craft people who all open their studios and invite everyone for a visit on the first weekend of June. There will be live music and street food all weekend too!

'Why be normal when you can be happy' Exhibition, Burgh House, Peggy Jay Gallery, London, United Kingdom
A duo group art show inspired by Jeanette Winterson’s book ‘Why be happy when you can be normal’. The exhibition captured the artists’ (S.Puidokaite and F.Zagari) ‘joie de vivre’ philosophy through a series of colourful and lively paintings and interior design objects. Prioritising happiness and mental wellbeing, both artists see art as a vital way to introduce more joy into our homes. While the exhibition presented a lively, colourful exploration of the duo’s London journey, capturing their experiences and views through our artistic lenses, the artists also invited visitors to explore how their own emotions and mental states are impacted by colours and shapes that surround us. ‘Colours may not have words, but they do speak to us’, - says the duo, and with that, encourages a dialogue on how colours can bring joy, address wellbeing and open new ways to navigate complexities of our emotions. Simona presented her new paintings from series "A Spash of Summer Hues".
