Whims of the Square
This collection of works was inspired by contemplating what prompts artists to repeatedly employ a static and stable square in their art; and is it essential for the square to maintain this static nature, or can it be dynamic, evolving, and even playful?
Thus, series emerged from a deep-seated desire to push the boundaries of this geometric shape and to have a little play with it. Created works show bold black squares blended with round shapes and straight lines on earthy backgrounds, resulting in a whimsical dance of simplicity and intrigue.
